The Flaxmere Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational Pentecostal Church that was founded at the end of 1980 during the height of the Charismatic renewal. We have been located in Flaxmere since the establishment of the Fellowship and now meet at our main Church facility at 220 Flaxmere Avenue in Flaxmere, Hastings.
We have an open door policy and extend a warm welcome to all who may desire to attend.
Membership is simply made up by those who by their consistent attendance show themselves to be members. However, Christian standards as outlined in the Holy Bible are expected of each member, and the leadership reserve the right to ask any member to abstain from attendance if their behaviour is contrary to the conduct of upright Christian character.
Our main church stage bears the flags of Israel and New Zealand on each side of the cross. This displays our Church Mission taken from Romans 1: 16..to the Jew first and also to the Gentile!
We seek therefore to reach out to the people of Israel as well as to our own community with the love of Jesus our Messiah & Saviour.
Our Church emblem as declared on our main sign on the corner of Flaxmere Ave and Margate Ave means this:
THE CROSS: We seek to be Christ centred
THE BIBLE: We seek to be Bible based
THE DOVE: We seek to be Holy Spirit orientated
We try our best to encourage people to live their lives as totally committed believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our main service is on Sunday mornings at 10: 30 AM
We extend a warm welcome to all.
